I'm a Brooklynite by way of the Twin Cities. I write and edit stuff, make things with yarn, play video games, watch TV (the usual Tumblr fare), and read mostly mysteries and YA. I've got a cat named Gypsy after one of the robots on MST3K, and a cat we call Jayne after Firefly's Jayne Cobb (he does not have a hat--yet). Oh, and I just had a kid, like, yesterday. So yeah. Hi.
1. I am 41 years old.
2. I was basically getting used to the idea of not having kids, even though I liked the idea of having at least one, because it always seemed to me that not having one would be something I would regret.
3. Still, at my age, according to Science, I have a 5% chance of getting pregnant during any given fertility window.
4. NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS.
5. I’m having a baby in March.

OMG! CONGRATS! i was wondering if i should ask the obvious a few days ago. but there are more reasons to not drinking alcohol “for now” and being violently sick than having a baby. OMG! you will be so happy and good at it.
