I don’t know any Patsys personally, but the first person I thought of was Patsy Cline.
So when I was in graduate school in Ohio, there was this bar we’d go to all the time (I can’t remember the name of it. I can remember the bartender’s name was Darryl, but I can’t remember the name of the bar). Patsy Cline was on the jukebox, and at least one of her songs would get played every night we were there, and every single time all of the locals would remove their hats. I think this is a fine tradition, one which should be upheld everywhere. You hear Patsy sing, you remove your hat. Show some respect.
